Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most talked-about video games ever. When it first came out, it had a lot of problems with how it worked, especially on computers and consoles. Gameplay :

Cyberpunk 2077 lets you play in different ways: as a Netrunner (hacker), Techie (mechanic), or Solo (fighter). During combat, you can move around using tactics like sprinting, taking cover, double-jumping, and sliding. These abilities can be improved with cyberware implants from a “ripperdoc”. Weapons and armor are categorized by color tiers and split into melee and ranged types. Ranged weapons include Power (ricocheting bullets), Tech (penetrates walls), and Smart (homing bullets with special cyberware). Damage types like Physical, Thermal, Electric, and Chemical affect gameplay, and you can finish the game without killing anyone (except robots).

The game is set in Night City, which has six distinct regions like City Centre, Watson, Westbrook, Heywood, Pacifica, and Santo Domingo. You can explore these areas on foot or in vehicles, experiencing a full day-night cycle and dynamic weather that influences NPC behavior. Depending on where you are, committing crimes can alert law enforcement. The city is filled with radio stations, and special implants translate non-English speakers. V, the main character, also uses Braindance technology to experience others’ memories.

Interacting with NPCs through branching dialogues affects the game’s outcome, with multiple endings based on your choices. Completing quests earns experience points and “street cred” for unlocking skills, vendors, and more quests. Fixers provide missions, and throughout the game, V is assisted by various companions. Consumables like food and drugs heal and boost stats, and there are minigames such as hacking and auto racing to enjoy.
